	Jeff Porcaro was another wonderful talent who left this earth far to soon. l first starting hearing him on the Boz Scaggs albums. One of the best studio drummers in the industry. Jeff could play simple or extremely technical. His style and timing were superb. Click here to find out more about Jeff Porcaro.
	lan Paice has been a mentor of mine for many years. l first heard him play on the Fireball album. lan was fast, smooth and precise, not to mention he had some of the fastest bass drum licks l had ever heard. lan remains to be an active member of Deep Purple. Phil Gould of Level 42 is another very gifted drummer. l was able to see Phil play live, he was extremely clean and tight. His snare drum had the nicest tone l have ever heard. Wish l knew what drum set he was playing at the time. Although Phil is no longer with the band, there new drummer Gary Husband is more than capable. Click here to find out more about Level 42.
